ACCRA Shaq Lawson Jersey , May 12 (Xinhua) -- Huawei Technologies Limited, a Chinese multinational networking and telecommunications equipment and services company, has been outdoored as a new partner of Ghana' s senior national soccer team, the Black Stars, for the FIFA World Cup in Brazil.


Huawei signed a one-year sponsorship deal with the Ghana Football Association (GFA) at the FA headquarters on Monday, targeted at the world.

The Chinese IT firm joins an array of sponsors for the Black Stars.


President of the GFA Kwesi Nyantakyi thanked the Chinese firm for deciding to partner the football association.


"I will like to assure that you will have a very beneficial relationship with the GFA and I hope that, after the one-year spell, you will be encouraged to continue to deal with the GFA," he said.


Zhao Gang Zay Jones Jersey , chief Technical Officer of Huawei, said his outfit was privileged to sponsor the Black Stars as both sides were brands in Africa and the world respectively.


"Today, we are privileged to sponsor the Black stars and we are joined together to make a big brand based on mutual benefit. Now I am talking about long-term relationship between Black Stars and Huawei," he said.


Ghana will be making the third successive appearance at the World Cup in Brazil.


The West African nation has been drawn in Group G of the FIFA World Cup alongside the United States, Germany and Portugal, and will play its opening Group game at the Arena das Dunas in Natal against the United States.
