GENEVA, Sept. 15 (Xinhua) -- Switzerland is planning toreinforce its data safety on the Internet against hacker strikes,including introducing fines of up to 250,000 Swiss francs (259 Women's Nike M2K Tekno Pink Australia ,000U.S. dollars) for violations of security rules, the governmentrevealed on Friday.
The Swiss Defense Ministry said Friday that it foiled a malwarecyber attack in July which was similar to that used in other globalhacking campaigns, while on the same day the Justice Ministry alsopresented plans for improved data protection.
The cyber attack was carried out with the Turla malware, asophisticated virus used for cyber-espionage on several servers ofthe Defense Ministry and a contractor of the Foreign Ministry inJuly, according to the authorities.
